Abstract Submission Deadline Extended!

 

Submit Your Abstract until Midnight (GMT) on Sunday, 22nd January 2023!

 

ESPO 2023 Abstract Submission Guidelines
 

You are invited to submit abstracts for inclusion in the ESPO 2023 Congress. All abstract proposals will be evaluated by the Scientific Committee.

New Abstract Submission Deadline is the 22nd January 2023. 
 

Abstract Submission

  • Abstracts will only be accepted by online submission.

  • Submission of an abstract acknowledges your acceptance for the abstract to be published in the official Congress publications.

  • The presenting author of the abstract must be registered participant. Registration must be received by the Secretariat at least 2 months before the conference to ensure inclusion of the abstract in the meeting publications and in order to be scheduled for presentation.

  • Abstracts must be submitted in English.

  • Abstracts must be received by the announced deadline. Abstracts received after the deadline will not be considered.

  • The Scientific Committee will determine whether the abstract will be accepted as oral or poster presentation, with consideration given to the author’s preference.

  • The presenting author is required to ensure that all co-authors are aware of the content of the abstract before submission to the Secretariat.

  • Abstracts stating “data will be discussed in the presentation” will NOT be accepted.
     

Abstract Preparation
The following information will be required for your submission:

  • Presenting author's contact details

  • Author and co-authors' details

  • Affiliation details: department, institution / hospital, city, state (if relevant), country

  • Abstract title – limited to 20 words in UPPER CASE

  • Abstract text – limited to 250 words

  • Abstracts should clearly state: Objectives, Methods, Results & Conclusions

  • Use only standard abbreviations. Place special or unusual abbreviations in parentheses after the full word appears the first time.

  • Use generic names of drugs. Express numbers as numerals.

  • Abstract Topics – abstracts must be allocated to a specific category for the Scientific Program. You will need to select the topic most suited to your abstract.

After submitting the abstracts it won’t be possible to make any changes. Please note that abstracts must be SUBMITTED before the deadline in order to be sent to review for inclusion in the Scientific Program.


ESPO 2023 Junior Awards
The ESPO2023 Junior Awards sponsored by the European Society of Pediatric Otorhinolaryngology, have been established to highlight the presentations of three excellent researchers who are at the start of their scientific careers, but whose research has already resulted in essential advancements and contributions in Pediatric Otorhinolaryngology.

Three awards to the amount of €250 each will be granted to three young scientists.

If you are a scientist, medical doctor, PhD student or post-doctoral candidate under 35 years of age and involved in Pediatric Otorhinolaryngology, you are invited to apply for one of these prestigious awards.

Application deadline is 22nd January 2023.
